Real Estate - Know your Credit Score
Many of us are still daunted by the credit industry, the credit crisis and our own financial picture. A good place to start is at www.AnnualCreditReport.com where you can request a free credit report from each of the three Credit Reporting Companies. You are, by law, entitled to one free credit report each year. Here’s a tip, when you log into www.AnnualCreditReport.com, request all 3 agencies and it will start with one Credit Reporting Company (i.e. TransUnion). To request a free report from the other 2, you’ll want to use the “Return to AnnualCreditReport.com” tab and request the other 2. Again, you’ll get only one. Repeat the steps for the third free report. (I don’t know why…it just works that way!).
